About Me

I am a digital artist and character designer from Miami, Florida, with a BFA in Art and Technology from New World School of the Arts.My practice is grounded in play and process, having fun, and being in touch with my inner child is key. This manifests as original characters, figurative sculptures, anime fan art, and animations. My primary medium is digital art, though I also work with sculpting and 3D modeling. As much as I enjoy making art for fun, I ideally would love to create my own animated series in the future.

”Bloomed Bodies” is my BFA project where it dives into my love for character design and how I want to display people with marginalized bodies living happy lives and enjoying having active hobbies (such as yoga, roller skating, and ballet) that are more commonly associated with the more “Ideal” thin able-bodied people.Despite the challenges life has thrown at them because of their larger bodies and circumstances, these three female-presenting characters—Sagé, Poppi, and Lilie—are content with themselves and their bodies. The pun "Bloomed Bodies" was my idea because it punned not just their names (Common Sage, Corn Poppy, and Lily of the Valley), but also the way their bodies and their kind grins grow like flowers.

The "Curvy Garden" project served as the model for my BFA project. In it, I drew women with different body types, colors, and ethnicities propped up next to flowers with pedals that best reflected their bodies.
